Your Arrival
The closest commercial airport to Kiawah Island is the Charleston International Airport (CHS). It is ~45 minute drive to the island.
Transport
We will be providing transportation to and from our welcome party and wedding reception, but guests will need to plan their transportation to and from the airport.
Getting Around
When you arrive at the Kiawah Island main gate, let the attendant know you are there for the McBride and Lowe wedding. They will give you a gate pass that will provide access throughout the island.
Uber/Lift
Uber/Lyft do not operate in or around Kiawah. We recommend renting a car for the most convenient mode of transportation to and from the airport and so that you can explore the island on your own.
Renting A Car
You can also use a car service and transportation company to reserve transportation to and from the airport for the weekend. Some of our favorites are linked below. Guests staying at the Sanctuary and the Andell Inn can also arrange this service directly through the hotel front desk.
